She Was Only:

"For its seventh issue, Boat visited Lima and to coincide with its release, we were asked to rethink the masthead and overall art direction of the magazine. With its already strong following, this wasn't a challenge to be taken lightly.

When looking at the new masthead, we aimed to create something that was not only recognisable, but confident as a brand mark. Previously, the magazines title was more discreet in a 'luggage tag' masthead. The brand refresh readdressed this by celebrating it's unique name and bringing it to the forefront – making it an own-able and distinguishable asset.

To showcase the contributor's work and allow the character of the city take prominence, we used clean, editorial layouts and elegant typography. The typographic choices were inspired by classic literary journals of old, and were offset with a clean sans serif to add contrast and hierarchy."
