A fully-featured version based on the Type 1 scriptum release of SabonNext LT (2002). A wealth of OpenType features makes it easy to get the best out of this versatile typeface. To use the font commercially, do Mr Porchez a favour and buy the original!
NOTES
1. Expert sets merged with base fonts, including kerning.
2. Default figures now proportional lining.
3. Unicode addresses match across all styles.
4. Many fixes, including menu names, italic slant angle, scaron small caps in Demi.
5. Added hsuperior for use in the ordinals feature.
6. Added a mass of OpenType features. Standard ones are AALT, KERN, CPSP, LIGA/DLIG, SUBS/SINF/DNOM, SUPS/NUMR, ONUM/LNUM/TNUM/PNUM, and SMCP/C2SC (neither in Black). Advanced features...
¶ FRACTIONS: also creates dynamic fractions in valid contexts.
¶ ORDINALS: also substitutes st, nd, rd and th after numbers, in correct context: 1st, 2nd, 11th and 12th are changed, but not 1th, 2th, 11st or 12nd.
¶ LIGATURES: includes ellipsis, historical, small caps and alternate-f variants.
¶ CONTEXTUAL ALTERNATES: (C), (P) and (R) in correct context. Limits long-tailed a, e, n and r to the end of words if the swash feature is on.
¶ HISTORICAL FORMS: long-s and its ligatures.
¶ STYLISTIC ALTERNATES: Euro, Q, ¶, q.small (last two not in Black), short-topped f and related ligs. In italics, also A, V and j.
¶ SWASHES: &; Q (Italics); end-of-word a, e, n, r (all) and u (not Italics), in correct context if Contextual Alternates is enabled. Swashes also accessible as Stylistic Alternates and Contextual Swash.
¶ ORNAMENTS: all accessible via bullet, asterisk, plus or period. There are also two or four ornaments associated with each of a-z, A-Z, and pairs of parentheses, brackets, guillemots and smart quotes.
