This agreement Constitutes a legal agreement between you, the end user, and "Alphabets Fonts Division" of Semiotx, Inc. (Alphabets or A*I). You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before downloading. Downloading A*I products indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to them, do not download the fonts, promptly reply and your money will be refunded.
Plain English Section --
You have licensed the right to produce printed and onscreen renderings of the font products enclosed herewith. However, you may not embed the fonts themselves, nor any simulation of their outlines, without a separate electronic distribution license.
We request that you provide a credit line in your printed and onscreen products which will allow interested viewers to contact us for information. A sample credit might read "(fonts listed here) from Alphabets Fonts, available at www.alphabets.com or fonts@alphabets.com"
Finally, regardless of any other issues, you may not make copies of these fonts for your friends, or colleagues. Nor may you place them on more than five separate workstations, nor use them on more than one printer. End User License Agreement
G R A N T O F L I C E N S E This software is licensed, not sold. Alphabets grants to you the right to install this copy of the enclosed Alphabets software program (the "Software") in one location for use with one printer or output device.
C O P Y R E S T R I C T I O N S; O W N E R S H I P O F S O F T W A R E
You own the media on which the program is recorded; Alphabets retains title to the Software including copies, regardless of form or media, and to all copyrights therein. The Software and accompanying written materials are copyrighted. You may either (a) transfer the Software to a single hard disk and retain the original Software for backup purposes, or (b) make one copy of the Software solely for backup or archival purposes, or (c) (Home-Use Clause) make one temporary copy for use with a "portable" or secondary computer that is used by you at a location other than that of the licensed copy. During such use, the licensed copy at the primary location must not also be in use.

You may not embed or redistribute A*I fonts, unless you have specifically licensed the right to redistribute the font outlines through the use of embedding technologies such as Adobe Acrobat or Bitstream TrueDoc (included with Netscape's Communicator 4.0 product). T R A N S F E R R E S T R I C T I O N S You may transfer the Software with a copy of this Agreement to another party only on a permanent basis and only if the other party accepts the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Upon such transfer, you must transfer all accompanying written materials, and either transfer or destroy all copies of the Software. You may not lease, rent, merge, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software.
T E R M I N A T I O N This License is effective until terminated. The License will terminate automatically without notice from Alphabets if you fail to comply with any provision of the License. You may voluntarily terminate at any time. Upon termination, you agree to destroy or purge all copies of the Software and accompanying written materials.
L I M I T E D W A R R A N T Y As its only warranty under this Agreement, Alphabets warrants the media on which the Software is provided to be free from defects in materials under normal use for a period of 90 days from the date of the delivery to you as evidenced by your purchase receipt. Except as expressly warranted herein, the Software is provided "As Is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the program is with you. Alphabets does not warrant that the functions contained in the Software will meet your requirements or that the operation of the program will be uninterrupted or error free or that programs defects will be corrected. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific, limited rights. You may have other rights which vary from state to state.
L I M I T A T I O N O F L I A B I L I T Y Alphabets' entire liability and your sole remedy under this License is, at Alphabets' option, either (a) return of payment as evidenced by a copy of your purchase receipt; or (b) replacement of media not meeting Alphabets' Limited Warranty. In no event will Alphabets or its vendors be liable for any direct, consequential or incidental damages (including damages for loss of business profits, information, or use), even if Alphabets has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
G O V E R N I N G L A W This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
U S G O V E R N M E N T R E S T R I C T E D R I G H T S The Software and documentation is provided with RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, duplication or disclosure by the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in subdivision (b) (3) (ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227- 7013.
