| Description: | Wola has been inspired by handwriting with a flex nib fountain pen. The characteristic contrast in the thickness of letter elements results from the properties of the nib, which leaves a thicker trace in falling lines, while in rising lines the created trace is thin. A distinctive serif, linking the endings of letters horizontally, creates an interesting visual effect, which organizes letters in a verse. The maximum contrast of character elements refers to the techniques employed in Bodoni’s classicistic Antiqua. The regular width of characters aims at augmenting legibility of the type face, especially when it is used in small print. A lively and indented letter structure and its dynamic form create a freshness of a handwritten script. |
