Description: |
This is a font containing supplemental and alternate glyphs used for formal logic. There are many different symbols provided, especially arrows and geometic operators which are only sparely available in Unicode. Many symbols are provided in different sizes and weights.
This font is designed to be used with, but not replace, the STIX2 fonts. It includes alphanumeric symbols which are consistent with those of the STIX2 fonts so that scaling is not necessary. These alphanumeric symbols are intended to be used in a logical context rather than a mathematical context. They include sans-serif, slab-serif, normal serif, calligraphic, blackboard, Fraktur and Greek symbols, most of which include numerics. Accented characters are not provided since these are not required for using in logical expressions. The primary use for alphanumerics is names. Numerics are provided because it can be convenient to include those in names. No distinct glyph variants are provided for alphanumerics that are also used as constants.
With the exception of the Basic Latin code page (which contains the regular sans-serif alphanumerics and other standard symbols), all fonts are contained in the private use area. |
