Floodfonts is the type foundry of the designer Felix Braden and was founded in the year 2000. Floodfonts offers a couple of typefaces at www.floodfonts.com for free download (e.g. Moby, Polaris, Bigfish, Hammerhead, Hydrophilia).

Felix Braden studied visual communication at the FH Trier with Andreas Hogan and worked as an assistant to Jens Gehlhaar at Gaga Design. He is one of the founders of Glashaus Design and works since 2003 as an art director for MWK and freelance type designer in Cologne, Germany.

In 2013 he was one of the winners of Communication Arts' Typography Annual with his FF Scuba typeface and was mentioned in numerous favourite typefaces lists: Fontshop’s Best Types 2012, Typographica’s Favorite Typefaces of 2012 (honorable mention), Typefacts best fonts of 2012 and Typecache’s other favorite typefaces of 2012.
